4R70W Transmission

After I broke the stock AOD case, I wanted an upgrade

I got a 4R70W transmission from a 2000 5.0L Explorer

I used a 351W/AOD flexplate from a late 80's Crown Vic

I used a TCI cast aluminum pan

I had to alter the crossmember because the 4R70W is 1in longer

I used a Lokar shift cable

I built a custom coolant system

Now I can program the shift pattern in the computer to suit my needs

I installed a late 80's truck OD off switch in my 1986 dash
